Rooms are genuinely small. If you are travelling with large luggage, you will feel it. But the bed is good, the shower works properly, the TV is a decent size, and the design makes the space feel deliberate rather than squeezed. The rooftop bar is the standout feature – a small outdoor terrace above Dale Street with views over the rooftops of the commercial district. It is not a huge space but on a warm evening it is one of the better hotel terrace options in Liverpool. Not always open, so check before you book on the strength of it.
Dale Street sits between the waterfront and the city centre proper – Moorfields station is two minutes away, James Street is five, the main shopping and nightlife is a ten-minute walk. It is a quiet street at night without being remote.
